About the Role
We are looking for a Sr Capital Markets Manager to join the team. In this role, you'll manage funding flows on LendingClub’s platform, and develop and implement new investor product strategies across institutional, bank, and retail investors. You will help drive the scalability of LendingClub’s Marketplace business through new product development, and improvement in the investor experience. You’ll develop relationships with LendingClub’s institutional investors and manage execution of some of LendingClub’s most complicated transactions. This role will work closely with Finance, Treasury, Legal, Operations and Sales to identify, develop, and optimize solutions and business processes. - Analyzing loan pools, modeling cashflows and developing structures to support the Marketplace’s distribution of LendingClub’s loans to private investors
- Work closely with rating agencies, legal teams, and internal risk management to ensure secure deal execution
- Manage the monthly update cycle for structured transactions
- Assist with the development of new investor products and funding solutions
- Support the Marketplace sales team in developing new partnerships
- Identify investor-related business challenges and opportunities for improvement and recommend strategic or tactical solutions using supporting analysis
- Stay informed about the latest market trends within the consumer ABS, regulatory changes, and investor appetite to help provide strategic solutions
About You
- 6+ years of experience and bachelor’s degree in business, finance, accounting, economics, mathematics, or similarly technical field; or equivalent work experience
- Proficiency in Intex Dealmaker or other structuring tools
- Experience in working with rating agencies related to securitizations
- Outstanding work ethic and willingness to contribute broadly to achieve team and company objectives
- Keen interest in investment products and, generally, intellectual curiosity
- The ability to adapt and respond quickly to evolving needs
- Professional maturity and sound business judgment
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Excellent attention to detail, extremely accurate and well organized
- Strong analytical skills
Work Location
San Francisco or New York
We are currently working a hybrid schedule and our teams are in-office Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Thursdays.

Compensation
The target base salary range for this position is 156,000-180,000. The position is also eligible to receive a bonus (which is based on company performance, employee performance and eligible earnings), equity, and benefits. Our salary ranges, other compensation and benefits offered are determined by role, experience level and location.
