The Opportunity
We're seeking a full-time Liquidity & Operations Manager who is passionate about bitcoin and improving the current operational systems. Reporting to the Chief Treasury Officer, you will be taking ownership and be involved in the operations/treasury functions of Ledn.
The ideal candidate has experience in an agile startup environment or in the financial industry. You will have ownership in the company and as such, we expect the successful candidate to take ownership of the financial records and financial statements they prepare. You are equally comfortable leading the function as you are rolling up your sleeves to execute, making you both a leader and a hands-on problem solver.
About the Role
Operations
- Oversee the end-to-end lifecycles of loan operations, including disbursements, repayments, and the processing of client transaction accounts activities (deposits, withdrawals, transfers, rebalancing)
- Review and maintain institutional and retail loans, and trading schedules to reflect ongoing operational transactions
- Provide operational insights, balance snapshots, and data-driven recommendations to management team to support strategic decisions
- Establish tracking mechanisms and reporting for key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Review and approve transfers, both in fiat and digital assets for loan disbursements, settlement with counterparties, and intercompany transactions
Client services
- Coordinate with the Client Success team to address and resolve complex client inquiries and ensure highest standards of service delivery
- Manage and support client relations operational escalations related to disbursements and processing
- Lead operational reconciliation efforts with the Finance team to ensure accuracy and timeliness in the transactions reported
- Prepare and deliver timely operational reports as required to various internal and external stakeholders
Controls and Audit
- Own the documentation, maintenance and enhancement of internal controls, policies, and standard operating procedures within the Operations team
- Identify inefficiencies and implement automation or workflow improvements to increase scalability and reduce operational risks
- Act as point of contact for cross-functional teams on audit and regulatory requests to ensure operational compliance with internal and external standards in place
Qualifications
- Minimum 5 years of working experience in financial operations, preferably in fintech, crypto, or traditional lending/capital markets
- Minimum 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role
- Undergraduate/Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business required
- Advanced Excel skills required (such as VlookUp, HLookUP, Pivot Tables) and experience handling large datasets
- Possess exceptional attention to detail and with a strong commitment to accuracy and integrity
- Excellent problem-solving and project management skills with the ability to lead initiatives across multiple stakeholders in a fast paced, data-driven environment
- Strong knowledge in workflow tools (e.g. Jira)
- Comfortable navigating ambiguity and rapid growth; proactive and entrepreneurial mindset
- Strong ethical guidelines based on financial policies procedures
- Must be willing to undergo a background check and a credit check if selected
- Fluent in English
Nice to Have:
- Working knowledge of digital assets and blockchain technology
- Exposure to compliance and regulatory finance ops
- Client relations experience
