Meta is seeking an experienced Communications Manager to join our AI Communications Team. In this role, you'll help shape the narrative for our AI products and share how people are using them across our apps and devices to learn, create, and connect with the people and things they care about most.You'll work cross functionally to identify opportunities for proactive storytelling and collaborate on go-to-market strategies that show the impact of our AI products on everyday life. Your goal will be to create engaging stories that spark people’s curiosity and get them excited about using our AI products.You'll play a critical role in helping Meta inspire and educate consumers, tech enthusiasts, and creators.

Communications Manager, AI Responsibilities:

• Support communications strategies and craft engaging narratives for our AI products
• Develop and execute comprehensive communications plans for product launches and feature enhancements
• Provide regular updates and insights to internal stakeholders on communication strategies and outcomes
• Identify opportunities to work outside traditional media channels, including collaborating with podcasters, creators, and social editors to amplify stories and reach new audiences
• Establish yourself as a subject matter expert of our AI product, understanding the benefits, market differentiators, trends, and challenges that impact what people choose to use
  
  

Minimum Qualifications:

• 8+ years of experience in a communications role
• In-depth knowledge of generative AI concepts, trends, and innovations
• Experience working in cross-functional organizations, collaborating with product, policy, business development, analytics, marketing, and legal teams
• Proven editorial skills, with experience distilling complex technical details into easily understood information
• Demonstrated proficiency in developing and executing media outreach strategies, pitching compelling storylines, and fostering collaborative relationships with journalists, influencers, social editors, and media outlets
• Proven expertise in distilling business objectives and target audiences, crafting effective communication strategies that put our AI products top of mind for consumers and tech enthusiasts

• Experience in AI communications or marketing
• Understanding of consumer and tech audiences, and experience crafting narratives for them
• Strategic, creative, and resourceful communicator with experience managing multiple high-level projects simultaneously
